The Optimization Tool is a comprehensive manual for the management and execution of pregnancy services in a medical Pregnancy Resource Center. Manuals for two OT models, as well as supplemental documents, are available for download below free of charge.

This collection of documents represents a Linear Service Model for providing STD testing and treatment for women and men. On average, a woman will contract an STD 2 to 4 years before experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. The STD platform offers the ability to engage patients before they’re pregnant and can significantly enhance your PRC’s reputation in the medical community.

Optimization Tool Implementation
For a PRC that is internally motivated and has a very enthusiastic team, the tools are all available for you to implement the Optimization Tool yourself, without cost. The OT Manual is a training document in itself, but also includes several ‘Self-Training Modules.’
Although these self-training resources are provided for your use, connecting with a PRC experienced with OT is highly recommended. Several of these PRC Executives are willing to provide coaching services to help you in your journey to implement OT. There may also be more comprehensive training available through an OT Training Center. If you need help locating such a PRC, please contact us.
WARNINGS:
- The Optimization Tool is intended to be implemented as a whole, and was designed to target the abortion-minded woman. Partial implementation or alternative uses of the OT are severely discouraged.
- The OT Linear Service Process will not be effectively implemented unless the philosophy of ministry as described in the OT manual is adopted, as well as the tactical service process.
- The OT is designed as a highly measurable, metrics-driven patient service model. It will not produce effectiveness without the ability to accurately measure and report. Consider purchasing one of the OT-approved databases.
